Goodbye August

August was a good month. I want to remember all the little things that made it so special.

My mom, kids and grandkids came for a visit.

Our son bought us a new grill as a housewarming gift.

We hiked a beautiful trail.

There were 11 rainy days in August.

Ayden stared pre-K.

The boys broke their first boards, earning them their white belts at martial arts class.

I didn't track everything, but I did walk 152,232 steps,  60.17 miles and exercised for a total of 329 minutes.

My weight fluctuated, as it usually does, but ended up lower at than it started.

And I worked on my cross stitch for a total of 63 hours, 15 minutes adding 7,391 stitches.  It is now 14.2% complete.

So, with that I bid August a fond farewell and say...

WELCOME SEPTEMBER
