☆I was so close to my goal! And I walked about 10 miles more than the previous month. I'm counting it as a win.

I'm in Indiana, about 30 miles from the Illinois state line. My goal is to get there in September.

The trail is 296 miles across Illinois to Missouri. I've adjusted my yearly goal to get to that point by the end of December.

I've walked almost half way across the United States!

In July I was still walking in Indiana.  I walked 39.89 miles and that puts me about 80 miles from the Illinois state line.

My goal for this year is to walk 1,000 miles. I'm really behind and need to step it up! At this point I need to walk 113 miles a month for the rest of the year to make my goal. It probably won't happen,  but I'm going to try to get as close as I can.

Do you think it would be cheating if I counted bicycle miles? So far I've only counted actual walking, but there's a new bike in my future (probably this month).
