Welcome to our home

We are home. 

The papers are signed and we've moved our things in. I have almost everything unpacked, but there are still things to do. Nothing is up on the walls yet,  and I haven't even started on my craft room!

We spent most of our first week just relaxing and enjoying the view. It's the beautiful view that I'd like to share with you today. I love that you can see the water from almost anywhere in the house.

Daily visitors, even on the overcast, rainy days.

The dog's have been very curious about all the new animals.

Wildlife and other animals that we've seen so far include: geese, cranes, fish, turtles, cardinals, hummingbirds, beautiful butterflies and dragonflies, a beaver and a skunk. Across the water lives a big herd of cows and one donkey that we see passing through to another field everyday. Oh ya..... two neighbor dogs that casually crossed the deck one afternoon LOL. 

We are loving this place. We've met a couple of the neighbors and have been invited to a neighborhood fish fry on the fourth. This will help us meet more of our neighbors. 

I hope you've enjoyed the view. I'm off to unpack a few things. If you'd like, I'll work on giving you a full house tour as I get it all decorated.
