Little Things

For the week of December 4-10, 2017.

This week:
The weather turned cold and I drank more coffee and stayed in my PJs a lot. R wasn't feeling well all week. I'm glad he already had a scheduled appointment to see his doctor today.

I finished my housework list and did a small bit of cross stitching. I've also been working on my goals and plans for 2018. There are several things I'll be adding and working on next year and I'm excited to get started.

This week I baked cookies,  banana nut muffins and made a big pot of homemade chili. We played games on the Xbox, watched The Voice, and a few movies.

I ate too much (according to my daily calories  vs. calories burned). I didn't exercise enough. And I've noticed that my 32 oz of water a day has dropped to an average of 16 oz. I really think December is going to be an off month. I will be happy to just maintain.

January will be back to the grind stone with new goals,  new challenges, and a renewed motivation.

Quote of the week:
"Seize opportunities to change, to grow, improve, move forward.  At the same time, refuse to compromise those fundamental, enabling values on which your life is built." R. Marston

***update: there was complications with the "in and out" surgery and they admitted R to the hospital for more tests and treatment.
