For the week of April 30 - May 6, 2018.
This week:
1. The doctor removed my drain tube and all the stitches on Monday!
2. I started getting my energy back.
3. Stitch Maynia started, my goal is to stitch 2018 stitches a week all month.
4. R had a consultation with a transplant surgeon.
5. I had "breakfast with the boys" on Tuesday. This is where my grandsons call me bright and early so we can have breakfast together on the phone. It's so special since I don't get to see them often.
The best part of this week:
Getting the drain tube out.
This week's struggle:
Adding back in exercise and housework slowly. (I'm ready to jump in full force.) Still need to be careful with the incision.
What's taking up all my time:
Cross stitch! In order to reach my goal, I need to spend at least 3 hours a day working on it.
Looking forward to:
The new season of America's Got Talent on May 29th.
Favorite photo of the week:
Christmas, taking a nap in "her" rocking chair.
Goal review:
1. Get back into routine.
☆ I did pretty good with this. I'm a little slow and not pushing myself too hard, but I'm getting things done. (Are afternoon naps going to be a new thing in my routine? LOL)
2. Walk a mile a day.
☆This didn't happen every day, but I'm working on it.
3. 2018 stitches.
☆Done. I don't have an official total until Sunday night, but I did it!
4. Countdown list.
☆All done and we set a date for a yard sale.
Sounds like everything is falling into place for you again :) Must be a huge relief to have the tube removed.
